A natural consequence of the enormous increase of mortgage costs, which makes mortgages little interesting.
As they didn't want that these failures in interest politics would influence too much the American people, since quite a time although living on the nod, they started to invent mortgage-package-certificates, which have been credit rated AAA (emission security) by notable rating agencies like “Standard & Poors” and “Moody's” . Therefor many notable banks, such as Lehman Brothers and others, felt secure buying papers which were charged on real property, not realizing in what trouble it would lead them and their clients. Today it is obvious what costs this produced, apart from the losses private investors were suffering.
On the one hand now politicians pretty unfairly accuse the bank managers to have acted irresponsibly as those bankers were held in the illusion to buy secure products. On the other hand they were obviously let by avidity and sufficiently enough those bankers were forcing their innocent clients to buy the fatal “super” certificates. But they were only consultants and not the managers themselves.That means, if someone is pointing his finger on the whole banking profession, he should ask himself if he was free of guilt. As the supervisory bodies have been completely beset with not qualified political representatives. But as always, it's much easier to accuse others and therefor distract from your own incapacity spreading dirty stories.
